Some problems just keep coming back until you fix them the right way. This F550 had a recurring issue - the bolts holding the receiver hitch kept breaking. Replace the bolts, they break again. That cycle tells you one thing: the original mount wasn't built to handle the load being put on it.
We came out on-site and handled it with our mobile welding setup. No need to haul the truck anywhere. We welded the hitch solid directly to the frame and added gussets to reinforce the connection points. Gussets aren't just extra metal - they distribute stress across a wider area so the load doesn't concentrate in one spot and cause failure.
The before and after speaks for itself. What started as a beat-up, bolt-dependent hitch mount is now a fully welded, gusseted connection painted out in black. That's not a patch job. That's a permanent fix built to hold up under real working conditions.
This is exactly what mobile welding is for. Heavy-duty repairs that need to be done right, done at your location, without taking your equipment out of commission longer than necessary. Whether it's a work truck, a trailer, or anything else that's taking a beating - if it's metal and it's broken, we can fix it.
